Good Life! Our journal groups are starting and we would love for you to get involved.
So what is a journal group?
It is an opportunity for a group of people to read a passage of scripture together, write out their thoughts, questions, and applications from what they read. Then the group goes around and shares what it is they learned.
The format gives 20min to read, 20min to write and 20min to share. It’s called a 20/20/20.
The group is designed for both people who study the Bible regularly and those who don’t. It’s not designed as a place to “show off” Bible knowledge but rather to learn and practice the discipline of reading and studying scripture for the purpose of growing in relationship with Jesus and for life change. So before you disqualify yourself from a journal group, stop! This opportunity is for all of you!
We currently have 1 men’s group meeting on Wed. 6am at the Panera Bread on University and 1 women’s group meeting on Friday at 9am (email Marti at firstname.lastname@example.org for location)
If you are interested in being a part of these groups or would like to suggest a time that works better for you feel free to email me at email@example.com for the men or Marti King at firstname.lastname@example.org for the ladies.
Thanks guys! Here is a quick shot from this morning’s group. We studied Romans 3 today.
Hope to see you soon.
